Next Appearing at:

Stacey’s career at Marlborough District Council has given her a deep understanding of the value of the data and information Councils hold, and the systems that present the information digitally to customers. Stacey initially worked on MDC’s main frame system progressing to become a Network Engineer. She then moved into IT management and developed an information team consisting of all facets of IT and Information Management. As Chief Information Officer, Stacey oversees her team of 30 staff, and provides strategic direction with a strong focus on making MDC’s large and complex volume of information available to internal and external customers in clear, practical, innovative and accessible ways.
Stacey has two young children and juggles family and work but loves the challenge of changing the organisational culture to manage MDC’s information in a way that realises its true potential and value and provides customers with excellent value and digital services. Stacey has completed a Masters of Information Management from Victoria University graduating in May 2016 after four years of part-time study.
