James Blair

Initiative Lead, Automation Framework / Inland Revenue Department

James Blair leads the automation stream within Inland Revenue’s Customer Experience Network. Recently his role has focussed on forming and driving a strategic roadmap for automation at Inland Revenue.

James has spent 10 years with Inland Revenue, initially working in a variety of business and project roles before progressing to a senior analytics role. 

From 2014 he then began his automation journey at Inland Revenue, and over a three year period worked with his team of ten to automate over 450,000 hours of what would otherwise have been manual work for the organisation.
