Hamish leads the Information Systems and Technology Service within South Australian Police and is one of two civilian executives reporting directly to the Commissioner of Police.Hamish has broad experience in senior leadership roles within defence, private, and public sectors. Prior to joining SAPOL in May, he was the first Chief Information Officer at the Department for Child Protection and was a member of their senior executive group. Hamish also spent time working in Canberra building large mission-critical systems for the Australian defence community and worked for 6 years as CIO for ASX-listed company SeaLink Travel Group. Hamish holds degrees in Computer & Information Science, Arts, and Project Management, is a Fellow of the Governor’s Leadership Foundation, and a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
