Bimo Purbo is currently leading IT Operation Division of Bank Tabungan Negara (BTN). He oversees all aspects of IT Operation: application, infrastructure, security, network and data center. One of his major goals in the area of IT infrastructure is building truly agile infrastructure; ability to cope with extreme dynamics of business ups and downs while staying efficient and reliable.
Bimo has more than 20 years of experiences in Information Technology; he has unique blend of capabilities: business application development, infrastructure, network and security in two major industries: telecommunication and financial services.
Prior to BTN, he was Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of telkomsigma, responsible for developing banking and finance application products. More over, he led public cloud service organisation in Telkom, head of interbank switching service in telkomsigma, led architect team during Always On IT Infrastructure development in Telkom.
